Right now Kiruba Charitable Trust is helping 40 orphan / semi orphan children, giving them shelter, food, clothes and education from 5 years to 20 years, equip them as Nurses and making them stand on their own legs. Many children are also happily settled in Married life.

To help a child to study from 1st Std to 12th Std., they need Rs. 2000/- per child per month (approximately USD $ 25). To help a child to study nursing, they need Rs.53,000/- (USD $ 650) to complete the course.

In the month of June, every year for the academic new year, they need Rs.8150/- per child for schooling, new uniforms, shoes etc. (USD $ 100.00). At Christmas, for new dresses and Christmas gifts, the need is Rs.6520/-(USD $ 80) per child.

Moreover we concentrate on beggars, street children and rag-pickers and to take care of them we need a Home away from their homes, with a minimum of 10 cents of land that costs approximately Rs.81,50,000/- (USD $100,000), which is our future plan.

Our children are walking to school, which is 3 kilometres away from the children's Home. In summer and in rainy season they find it very difficult to go to school by walking. The need of the hour for them is a van / bus which costs Rs. 25,00,000 (USD $31,000)

Our future plan is to Build to a Home away from home for destitute, orphans, old age people, handicapped, persons affected by AIDs and their children.
